| Description: |
There are some first class top-of-the-line ATVs available now, bearing a host of dynamic names, including just about every animal you can think of. But as good as they are, all the vehicles in this class have one major fault - they make a terrible amount of noise and scare the heck of whitetail deer and other wildlife. They also burn gas or diesel and generate exhaust fumes that can get in your clothes and on you and alert game that you are present even when you have walked a long way from your vehicle. If viewing or hunting game is your thing, or you just enjoy a little peace and quiet in the outdoors, these engine powered machines can put you at a real disadvantage.
I own one of them (it’s the one without the animal name, same name as George W’s old baseball team) and I love almost everything about it except the racket it makes and the gasoline smell that follows it around. I used it every day for several years, and I don’t think I ever drove it, even when feeding cattle or doing chores around the ranch, that I didn’t wish there was a way to lower the roar a few notches. Several of my neighbors own one of the other brands, the one named after the big lizard-like thing that lives in the water, and the one good thing you can say about all the noise is that they can’t sneak up on you.
Now that you know where I’m coming from, imagine my surprise when I test drove a Bad Boy Buggy! The machine was virtually silent and had performance on a par with the big gas machines. I was so impressed I immediately decided this machine was the answer to my prayers and that I had to have one. It didn’t take long after that to decide the Bad Boy was so superior to anything else in its class that I wanted to become a dealer for my area of southern Texas , and I did just that. Only problem is, I began selling Bad Boys to my neighbors and now they CAN sneak up. I guess that’s a small price to pay to bring a little peace and quiet back to the country side.
