FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Golf
Xpress® Assets to be Sold
Don
Labowsky, president of eMotorsports, Inc., announced today that the
Company will be putting the assets of the Golf Xpress® and Electric
Xpress® product lines up for sale.
Golf
Xpress (www.golfxpress.com)
is the patented and award-winning single rider adaptive golf car that
allows people with limited or no mobility to continue to play and
enjoy the game of golf. Playing
from a seated or supported position, golfers can drive right onto the
tees and greens and into the traps without damaging the course.
The customer base is very diverse and includes individuals,
private and public golf courses, rehabilitation hospitals, and
industrial users. On the
market since 1995, Golf Xpress now has customers in 43 states and 9
foreign countries.
The
concept behind the Golf Xpress grew out of the 1990 Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) which specifically requires golf courses to be
accessible to people with disabilities.
Once a curious oddity, the adaptive car market has recently
been fully validated by the three largest golf car manufacturers - E-Z
Go, Club Car, and Yamaha - who have all introduced private label
versions of an adaptive golf car.
Golf Xpress enjoys an advantage over many of these competitors
by being lighter, easier to maneuver, and much lower cost.
The
Electric Xpress is a single rider personal utility vehicle (PUV).
It is the perfect vehicle for the growing age 55-70 demographic
who find scooters too limiting and traditional double-rider golf cars
to big for their personal use.
Assets
for sale include the full inventory of cars and parts, body molds,
tooling, prints, two patents, four trademarks, non-compete agreement,
customer list, website, and much more. Interested parties are invited to contact Don Labowsky
directly at dplabowsky@aol.com
or 1-877-GX-Golfcar to request further information.
