When you want power, performance and efficiency this is the way to go. Hi Performance Golf Cars develops and manufactures drive systems for golf cars, industrial/utility carts and neighborhood electric vehicles designed to achieve maximum distance, power and efficiency.

Although it is a new company, its founders, Brian and Darren Seymour, have been in the electric motor industry for over 30 years. In 1980, they designed and built their first electric car. By keeping abreast of the ever changing technology, they expanded their knowledge in electronics and mechanical engineering.

For the past 25 years, they honed their skills at AC induction motor manufacturing for all types of applications, including high-cycle motors for the concrete cutting industry and fuel pump motors for in-flight refueling of aircraft. While always interested in developing an AC induction drive system for vehicles, the expense of the electronics kept them from pursuing that avenue. Until now.

With the experience of building AC induction electric car motors, and the knowledge of the electronic controllers, Brian and Darren have applied their designs to golf cars and neighborhood electric vehicles.
